Ooooooooooh, I’ve been tagged by drumsnwishtles to talk about my quirky things. Looks like Ponzi is talking about her quirky memes too. Ok, I’ll play. Here are five quirky things about me:

1)       I have a thing for buttons on clothing. I want to twist them off and tear them out. I think it all started when I was around ten years old. Every morning, my parents would dress me up in a nice ironed blue uniform all buttoned up. Every afternoon I would come home from school with all the buttons missing. It wasn’t just that. I tore away all the buttons from all my clothes. I can’t help myself. If I see a button, I keep twisting it and twisting it, until it falls off. I have a cat-like fascination with it. I try to buy cloths without any buttons now. If we are in a party, don’t stand too close to me. I’ll start playing with your buttons and then when you are not looking, I pull them off. Then I will innocently hand them to you and say I think you dropped this. You’ll end up thanking me :P

2)       I like to put plain yogurt on just about everything I eat, especially Chinese food.

3)       I like to eat French fries with mustard rather than ketchup.

4)       Once in a while, I get obsessed with certain foods, songs or people. For example, one summer during college I listened to only two songs on repeat day and night: Bang and Blame by R.E.M. and Closer by Nine Inch Nails. At the end of the summer my roommate broke the cds and threw them out the window. My first semester at Berkeley, I ate a piece of pizza for lunch every day. And sometimes when I meet a new friend and they fascinate me, I want to spend every waking hours with them and know everything about them. I can’t help it. I go to extremes.

5)       I love watching cartoons. My favorite lately is Foster’s home for imaginary friends.
