Is it a boy or a girl?

As soon as we tell people that we are expecting, the first thing they ask is if we know if it is a boy or a girl. The first time I went for an ultrasound, it was too early to tell, but the baby was jumping up and down so much that the technician said, if she were to bet, she'd say it was a boy. That baby was just way too hyper.

The second time I had an ultrasound, the baby was playing coy and had its legs closed and wouldn't let us see. My Doctor told me she thought it was a boy but she couldn't be 100% sure.

Today I had a full anatomy ultrasound and I finally found it the sex of the baby.

I came back to the office and made everyone get into a betting pool. The losing team has to buy the winning team pizza on Monday.

And the Blue team won! Robert and my Mom btw both had guessed right.

We are having a baby boy:) Hope he takes after his older brother and is just as cute, smart and sweet as Patrick is.

Thank you Aruni. I hear boys are harder to raise when they are little, because they run around too much but easier to deal with as teenagers. We'll see about this one :)

Actually it doesn't matter what gender I am sure, but the slow unveiling and getting to know the new Wee One is the amazing part.

What fun! How cool will it be to have an older brother like Patrick and Patrick will find out how marvelous little brothers can be...well, I guess little brothers are (I only had little sisters, one is 10 years younger and the other is 14 years younger). Seriously, they were & still are two of the most interesting young people I have ever known.

    Yay Scoble family!

    hugs,
