I found out too late that AzarNafisi is speaking in Seattle tonight and tickets are sold out. I am gonna show up there anyway and see if anyone has tickets to sell. I would love to see her. Reading Lolita in Tehran opened a new world to me. I want to hear her lecture so much. I hope I can get in. Does anyone have tickets?

 

Update: One very happy Maryamie is typing this right now. I have a ticket! I searched on Technorati for blogs with the mention of Nafisi and Seattle and found one with just what I was looking for. Yay! Hannah has a ticket and has graciously agreed to let me have it. All priase to my angel of luck, Hannah and the gods of Technorati. I feel like I should jump up and do a happy dance right now or sacrifice cattle at a temple. Maybe I'll stick with dancing for now. Happy! Happy! Joy! Joy!
