Our favorite geeky couple, Chris and Ponzi are our guests of honor this weekend at the house and we are planning a pre-plunge party for them. They are getting married in less than a month and have asked Robert to be the best man and little old me to be the matron of honor. We are both so honored that they have asked us and we want to make sure they enjoy their weekend here with us.

So Saturday night is the pre-plunge party. Robert is taking the boys out for drinking at the Ritz to talk geeky to their hearts' delight, while Ponzi and I are having a little fun and games at the house with all the girls. We are gonna have six event planners in the house: Ponzi, myself, in addition to all the BlogHer founders: Jory, Lisa, and Elisa as well as my good friend Shadi. With those many event planners, you bet things are gonna get hot and wild here. Are we gonna have too many cooks in the kitchen or are we gonna let our hair down and play? Oh, we are gonna have fun alright. I've got some fun games and treats from Good Vibrations. My aim is to make Ponzi blush :) I just came back from the grocery store with lots of goodies to eat and drink too and I am gonna be picking up the most exquisite cheesecake from the world famous Elegant Cheesecakes. I am so excited about this little party. And that's not all.  Later in the evening, we are all off to Asia SF for a wild and fun night.
 
I love Ponzi so much and I so want everything to be perfect. I've got a few surprises up my sleeve, but truth be told I have never been the Matron or Maid of honor at any wedding and am hoping to God I don't mess this up. I was reading Jory's blog and liked her idea for the bachelorette party.  Reading through her story, I was reliving my own bachelorette party, and smiling about the fun times my friends and I had that night. No, there were no strippers, but there was lots of drinks, lots of games and lots of girls having a wild time. My friend Shadi did such a great job, planning my party that I have invited her to Ponzi's party just to make sure I don't screw up. So wish me luck in making a memorable and fun night for one of my best friends in the world. Here's hoping for a perfect night for a perfect Ponzi :)
