20 November How to throw the perfect party for Mr. and Mrs. Geek? How did we make sure Ponzi and Chris had the perfect bachelor and bachelorette party without inviting any strippers? You let them blog and geek out to their heart's delight the night before, then you invite a few fellow geeks and geekesses and their sig figs to party. You let the boys take on the Xbox 360 (reminding Robert not so gently that he needs to share, share, share, and it is absolutely not ok to play single player games while there are six other guys waiting to play :). You let the girls gather over the computer and check out the bridal dress and give them tour of the new house and exchange fashion, reciepe and decorating tips. For the mood: flowers, candles, lit fireplace, some smooth jazz which will be summarily disregarded by the boys and nicely complemented by the girls. For the food: lots of finger foods, fresh fruit, veggies, snack size bites, creamy spreads, and sweet sweet dessert which will be loved by both genders. For the drinks, wine of course but also: serving raspberry collins, the reciepe of which we picked up at Blog Business Summit speaker party. So now that you got everyone fed and drunk and relaxed, what do you do? You kick the boys out to continue their drinking at the beach, while the girls will play some fun and racy games at home. Make sure the games are racy enough so that everyone is blushing. Take plenty of pictures to be used later as black mail :) Get some candy from rudefoods, and some fun games from good vibrations. Then get all the boys and girls together in the Limo and head out for a wild night at Asia SF. The waitstaff and performers there are sure to make even the most liberated of geeks blush and the food is good too, not to mention those delicious cocktails. How do you end the night with a perfect note? You crash the Laughing Squid's super duper party, driving in with a white limo. Thank so much to all of our wonderful guests: Jake Ludington, Dave Winer, Susan Mernit, Jory and Jesse, Elisa and Chris, Lisa and Chris, and of course Chris and Ponzi. You all know how to party!
