Samantha Murphy is one of my favorite singers and I met her at Podcast Hotel in Seattle last year. I was thrilled to have a chance to interview her when she dropped by the Bloghaus earlier this year. She is an independent singer, songwriter and podcaster trying to make it in the music industry and her lyrics and music really touch my heart. When I am round Samantha I feel I am in the presence of greatness. I love original artists like Samantha. She inspires me with her art. Watch the interview and see what i mean.

Sometime past eleven o’clock on Saturday night, Robert and I felt ourselves at the presence of greatness in Podcast Hotel in Seattle. We were there as guests of Alex Williams and hanging out with him and his lovely girlfriend Judy and Eric Rice and John Hartman and a handful of other intriguing, interesting folks. There were many good bands and good singers there, but as far as I am concerned there was one great one and that was the beautiful and talented Ms. Samantha Murphy. I wonder if Ponzi and Chris will ask her to go on stage at Gnomedex. I bought her CD, and have been listening to her since, but I can’t wait to see her perform again. She rocks!
